Pricing
Naturally, prices will vary from quilt to quilt, depending on
size, quilting method, pattern, quilting design, and whether
you want the quilt made from t-shirts, or other clothing.
I do offer hand quilting, but expect that it will significantly
affect the price and time between ordering and receipt of the
finished quilt.
Please email me with your ideas. I look forward to working
with you to create your own one-of-a-kind treasure!

Pricing Details
Making a quilt from scratch is not cheap. You can go to your local department store and purchase a quilt for under $100, but after a couple of washings you will begin to notice how thin the fabric is, and that the inside of the quilt is falling apart, balling up, and the thread is coming undone. When you order a quilt from me, I purchase quality fabrics that cost anywhere from $4-$9 per yard, depending on the store, or any sales going on. A queen size quilt requires roughly around 22 yards of fabric, plus batting and thread to match. The larger the quilt, the more time it takes to make. My quilts are made to last. I love the quilts I use around my home, and I need them to stand up to kids, pets and the washing machine. A well-made quilt will last for a long time, and can be passed down to children and grand-children, thus becoming a treasured heirloom.
